CIPsi is pleased to announce the renewal of the ‘International Associated Laboratory ESTRA’.
Co-directed by Adriana Sampaio from the Psychological Neuroscience Lab (CIPSI, UMinho) and by Jean-Louis Nandrino from the SCALab (University of Lille), the International Associated Laboratory ‘ESTRA’ aims to foster joint research activities, share resources and expertise, and facilitate the exchange of researchers and students.
Over the past three years, this collaboration has yielded significant advancements in investigating the interplay between emotional processes and embodied social cues. The collaboration between our teams has proven invaluable, combining the expertise and infrastructure available at the SCALab and CIPsi.
The outcomes of this joint effort include two successful applications to R&D and Erasmus grants, over 40 double-degree master’s theses in co-supervision, and 3 PhD fellowships currently in cotutelle. This collaborative effort has enhanced scientific productivity, increased the visibility of both institutions and proved to be a fruitful context for securing further funding from international sources, enabling consortium research initiatives.
We are confident that the renewal of this partnership will lead to more significant achievements in the future.
