Sónia S. Sousa is a Clinical Psychologist and Researcher at the Psychological Neuroscience Laboratory, Research Center in Psychology (CIPsi), School of Psychology, University of Minho. Her research work focuses on studying the interplay between the neurodevelopment of executive functions and behavior, throughout the lifespan. Specifically, in studying the influence of brain development and lifestyle on executive functions and how an atypical development of these processes may lead to unhealthy behaviors, or disease. As part of her work, Sónia S. Sousa has published in international peer-review Q1/2 journals and collaborates with national and international research teams. Sónia S. Sousa has technical skills on clinical and neuropsychological evaluation, and neuroimaging analysis.
