This two-day session on scientific writing and publishing will provide a unique overview of the writing process and what to include in each section of the paper, as well as the publishing process at highly selective journals. The editors will share their expert insight into what makes an exemplary paper and will discuss how participants can improve their scientific writing skills to create a polished manuscript ready for publication.

Homework for day 2: If you have not already done so, please submit in advance of the workshop a recent, unpublished paper or conference title and abstract for the editor to review with you. It needn’t be publishable or in a final form. Try to keep a word limit of 200 words.
If you have already submitted your abstract and want to make changes to apply the learning from today, please feel free to do so and resubmit the updated version. Please also bring along a digital or printed version of the abstract tomorrow.

Podem inscrever-se investigadores doutorados e professores membros integrados do CIPsi que:
1) assumam o compromisso de participarem nas sessões completas durante os 2 dias, e
2) assumam o compromisso de preparar um título e sumário de um artigo não publicado, sobre a investigação atual, para exercícios práticos (ver agenda em anexo). Os títulos e sumários devem ser sobre a investigação atual do investigador e ter aproximadamente 200 palavras. Devem ser enviados para o CIPsi, que os remeterá para os editores, duas semanas antes do evento para melhor preparação da sessão de consultoria 1-a-1 com os editores.
