João Tiago Oliveira, PhD, is a Junior Researcher at Psychology Research Centre ¿ CIPsi, University of Minho, Portugal, Classified by the National Funding Agency, FCT, as an institution of Excellence. His scientific interests include process-outcome psychotherapy research, psychotherapy efficacy and effectiveness, change processes in psychotherapy, feedback interventions, and new technologies applied to psychotherapy. Recently he has been studying pan-theoretical processes (e.g., worry, premature discontinuation of therapy) in the Unified Protocol for Transdiagnostic Treatment of Emotional Disorders. He published more than 30 scientific papers, has close to 763 citations leading to a H-index of 14 (i10-Index: 16). João developed a deep know-how in quantitative data analysis methods and techniques (e.g., Multilevel Models, Longitudinal Analysis, Structural Equation Models). In addition to his Research Position, he is an Invited Assistant Professor at the School of Psychology of University of Minho, where he teaches undergraduate courses on ¿Psychological Assessment¿ and ¿Clinical Intervention¿. He also teaches ¿Psychology Dependencies and Crime¿ in the Law School. In parallel to his Research and Teaching duties, João always kept his clinical practice. He is a clinical psychologist at the Clinical and Health Psychology Unit of the School of Psychology, University of Minho. He has also practiced in a reference private practice, Psiquilibrios in Braga, to this day he collaborates with them as Editor of their publishing branch, which publishes for the general public, specialty students and professionals. João is a member of the Society for the Advancement of Psychotherapy, Society for the Exploration of Psychotherapy Integration (SEPI), and the Society for Psychotherapy Research (SPR). Since 2019 he is also funded by Taylor & Francis through the Emerging Scholars¿ Program promoted by SPR.
