Rui Gomes is an Assistant Professor at the School of Psychology, Department of Applied Psychology, University of Minho, Portugal. He received his academic degrees (Bachelor's, Master's, and Ph.D.) in Psychology from the University of Minho. In research, he is interested in human adaptation to stress, leadership and team performance, and life skills training and human development. He leads the research group on Adaptation, Performance, and Human Development (www.ardh.pt), whose findings are disseminated in the community through the School of Life Skills (www.e-cv.pt). His intervention focuses on sports psychology and life skills training in different contexts and age groups.
